Photo and signature merge: the photo on top, the signature below at the same width, one JPG at the pixel size and KB range the form asks for — or each one on its own.

Most central exam forms want the photo and the signature as two separate files. This page makes either: the merged JPG, or Photo only and Signature only at their own sizes.

Two jobs that look like one

Some forms want a single image: photo on top, signature below. Most central exam forms want the opposite — two files, each with its own pixel size and file-size range. This page does both from the same two pictures: the merged JPG from Export, and Photo only and Signature only from the Photo and signature panel, each sized and compressed to the range in the notice.

How to do it

  1. Add the photo, then the signatureSwap them in the panel if they arrive the other way round.
  2. Clean the signatureCrop to the ink and make the paper white.
  3. Set the width and KB rangeWidth under Output; at most and at least under Keep the file under a size.
  4. Export the merged JPG, or each partPhoto only and Signature only use the form sizes in the panel.

Where it stops

No background removal, no face retouching and no handwriting generation. The tool sizes, crops and compresses what you give it; if the scan is unreadable, it says so rather than making an unreadable file smaller.

Questions people ask

Do most exam forms want one file or two?

Two. The large central forms we checked (an IBPS-pattern bank notice, SSC CGL, ICAI) ask for the photo and the signature as separate uploads. Some state, university and institutional forms ask for one image with both; make the merged file only if your form says so. Both are made here.

How do I hit a range like 10–20 KB?

Choose JPG (already set here), turn on Keep the file under a size, and type the maximum and the minimum. Quality is lowered first and the pixel size only if quality alone cannot get under the maximum. The readout says the result, for example 18.4 KB at quality 71%, 200 × 290 px. If the file comes out under the minimum, it says so — raise the quality or the width.

My signature scan is grey with lots of empty paper. Can it be cleaned?

Yes. Clean picture 2 crops to the ink with a small margin, makes the paper white and, if you tick it, turns it greyscale. It is a levels adjustment, not AI, and Undo brings the scan back.

The form asks for name and date under the photo. Can I add it?

Yes. Type it into Name and date under the photo; it is set as plain text in a band under the photo.

What DPI is the file?

200 DPI is written into the JPG header by default on this page (change it under Print size). Most portals check pixels and kilobytes rather than DPI.

Are these sizes official?

No. The separate-file sizes are as published in an IPPB recruitment notice (IBPS pattern), checked 18 Oct 2026. Confirm on the official portal for your form.

Is my photo or signature uploaded?

No. Both are processed in this browser tab and never sent anywhere.
